Well, we've had problems with garage doors before - opening only half way, then quitting...opening 10 inches, then quitting. I've figured out the problem before, but have yet to make the proper adjustments for smooth operation and I was almost bitten by it this past sunday night. After Lifegroups our family headed home through a cold and heavy rain. We pulled up into our drive way and promptly pushed the garage door opener - 10 inches; that's all it opened. Being a little worried that my family would need to walk through rain with tired attitudes, I asked God (a little selfishly) to just let it work. I tried again - up it went all the way!!! In this case - God worked in something little. I thanked Him and wanted to let you know that God is in the small stuff!!! Don't forget to notice Him...and ask Him!

God in the small things!

I am slightly confused as to what you were almost bitten by.
"almost bitten" as meaning, because I didn't make the proper adjustments to the garage door - I almost "paid the price" of having to walk outside with my family in the freezing, downpouring rain.
